Join Us at Our Friends & Family Night! - Oct 03, 2019

Join the Sounds of Aloha Chorus as we hold a dress rehearsal for our Friends & Family on Thursday, October 3! We'll perform the competition song set we'll be taking to share with our fellow barbershoppers from across the southwest U.S. at the Barbershop Harmony Society's Far Western District Convention & Competition in Modesto, California, October 10-13, 2019!

In addition, five -- five! -- Hawaii quartets will be competing in Modesto: 19th Avenue, Funny Bones, VHF, Tropic Knights, and Hawaiian Time. Come watch them perform their competition sets as well! This free event will be held at our wonderful Thursday evening rehearsal venue, the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse, 2nd floor ballroom. There's ample parking, which also is free. The public is invited to arrive at 7:00 p.m., with refreshments to follow the performances. The evening should wind up around 8:30.

We really love sharing with our local fans how we'll be representing Hawaii when we travel. The singing and performing levels will be honed with extra care and flair for competition. You're sure to be well entertained, and for our parts we are so grateful for this incredibly important opportunity to practice our performances before a live audience! See you there!
