Who are we
Entertaining Hawaii and Mainland audiences for over 75 yearS
The Sounds of Aloha Chorus is a men’s a cappella choral group and the Aloha Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Our members form a fellowship of singers from all walks of life, from teenagers to octogenarians, united by our love of a cappella harmony. We strive to express the spirit of Aloha through the blending of our voices and support for singing in our community.

Honolulu will be the host city for the 2026 PanPacific Barbershop Convention. The Sound of Aloha looks forward to welcoming our barbershop ohana to our island!

Our Leadership
Bryce Irvine - Director
A home-grown directing talent, Bryce joined the Sounds of Aloha Chorus at the age of 17 and has been a lead section leader, assistant director, a stage actor in our scripted shows, and the lead singer in the quartet 19th Avenue. He also serves as Choir Director for the youth program Hawaii Education of the ARTS (HEARTS) and as a staff member for the Windward Clubhouse of the Boys and Girls Club.

We were very honored and excited to have won awards in both the chorus and quartet contests at the 2025 Fall Convention of the Barbershop Harmony Society's Far Western District in Fresno, California, October 9-12!
