Oahu Choirs Make Beautiful Music Together

This annual event gets better every year! This year's Community Choral Festival on April 29, 2018, at Kawaiaha'o Church once again showcased a rich diversity of fine choral singing on Oahu.

Along with our hosts, the Honolulu Chorale, the Sounds of Aloha performed with the University Chorus, Karol's Karolers, the Gay Men's Chorus of Honolulu, and the Windward Choral Society. 19th Avenue also sang a couple of songs as something of an offertory, and SOA's part of the program ended with an enthusiastically received "Tribute to World Peace" arranged by barbershopper Jay Giallombardo, featuring solos by Jonathan Spangler and Bryce Irvine, as well as two quartets. The finale of the whole event was a mass singing of "Hawai'i Aloha" by all the assembled groups and the audience.

We're so glad to be able to contribute to this special celebration of song!
