The Sounds of Aloha Chorus capped off its 2017 performance season with a return to an audience with whom we've had a whole lot of fun annually for years now: the members of the Oahu Country Club at their Candlelight Christmas Dinner, hosted by our friend and past collaborator, the always entertaining Shari Lynn. This engagement has become a tradition for us as well as for them, and we're grateful for this opportunity to share music, joy, and laughter with these families. This year's program featured a new and improved audience sing-along, numbers by Full Measure and 19th Avenue, and an unexpected hana hou requested performance of that traditional Christmas song, "Waikiki," graced with a hula by an audience member.
All in all, SOA looks back with excitement at a successful year of music and entertainment, as well as with gratitude for our supportive patrons, fans, and families who make it all possible. We wish you and yours a joyful holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you soon in 2018!
