The Sounds of Aloha Chorus is getting ready to host the 2026 Pan Pacific Harmony Convention, next week in Honolulu, at which we will compete in chorus competition with men’s and women’s barbershop choruses in front of our fellow barbershoppers from Hawai’i, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and the west coast of the U.S. and Canada! Our tradition before a competition is to invite friends and family to come hear our dress rehearsal of our contest songs, and we would love to debut for you our two local songs never before sung in barbershop! Please join us in the second floor Palladium of the Ala Wai Golf Course Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.
Our rehearsal evenings and locations vary right now, and for a week we will be busy with the convention, so if you hope to visit a rehearsal sometime, please check back on our Events calendar for the latest plans. In the meantime, next week we will feature two free public convention performances: The Bill Joor Show quartet showcase on October 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Kawaiaha’o Church, and the Saturday Harmony Spectacular featuring world class choruses and quartets, on October 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall!
