We are excited to hold another Guest Night this week to introduce people — especially male singers — to the Sound of Aloha Chorus and our music. And we are even more excited that this Guest Night also will be the kickoff for our Christmas Guest Singer Program!
Guys who want to give singing a try, without necessarily making a long-term commitment and without even having to attend full rehearsals, are invited to come learn two or three Christmas songs with us this week and in November — and then perform them with us on our Christmas show, “What the Devil Happened to Santa?” on December 6 at the Palikū Theatre, and/or in our free December 14 community concert at the historic Kawaiahaʻo Church, “A Gift of Song!” The Guest Singer Program always is hugely fun for the guests singers and for us!
You don’t necessarily have to commit to the Guest Singer Program in order to come enjoy our Guest Night. And you donʻt necessarily have to make ti the Guest Night in order to participate in the Guest Singer Program. We hope youʻll enjoy either or both. If you are — or if you know — a guy who could use some fun and some music in his holiday season, spread the word or come on down and see us!
This weekʻs rehearsal is at Kuapa Isle Clubhouse in East Honolulu. Youʻll need to tell the guard at the entrance shack that you are attending the Sounds of Aloha Chorus rehearsal at the clubhouse. Got questions? Contact us. We hope to see you there!
