A Gift of Song

During the last two Christmas seasons before the pandemic, SOA offered "A Gift of Song" performances in collaboration with the Kawaiaha'o Church. The free concerts were so warmly received that at the time we expressed hope that this might become a more lasting tradition. Fate had other things in store for all of us in 2020 and 2021, but we're overjoyed to have this opportunity again to share some seasonal joy and humor with our community. The occasion is all the more special because December 2022 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of our chorus!

This year we also further our mission of supporting young singers with a guest performance by HEARTS (Hawaii Education of the Arts). We're so glad to feature them, and we're excited to make music with the future of choral singing.

Come hear some music and then head across the street for Honolulu City Lights! Now that makes for a wonderful holiday tradition -- not only for the Sounds of Aloha and Kawaiaha'o Church, but for you and your loved ones!
